MiA courses offer tailored support for migrant and refugee women, focusing on their unique life situations. With low-threshold language assistance and relevant topics, these courses empower women to discover their potential and access further services. Designed with manageable 34-hour durations and proximity to home, they are perfect integration solutions for women with childcare responsibilities or those seeking confidence in participating in integration programs. Funded by the BAMF.

Our project is focused on developing psychological resilience to life’s challenges. Participants will develop skills to cope with challenging situations such as migration experiences, stress and trauma. Under this heading, we will focus on topics including resilience, flexibility, positive thinking, utilizing social support and problem solving skills. In the light of scientific research, participants will discover their own strengths and challenge life’s challenges with a positive outlook.

Personal Development and Self Awareness

Our project aims to enable participants to increase their self-awareness and lead a more fulfilling life by focusing on their personal development. Our online sessions will give participants the opportunity to recognize their own strengths, discover the potential in their lives and write their own stories. By focusing on topics that enhance resilience, participants will recognize and change negative thought patterns and strengthen their self-awareness and self-compassion. In this way, they will be able to cope with stress more effectively and increase their overall life satisfaction.

New Beginnings for Migrant Women

Empower, Grow, Shine

Our project aims to specifically target migrant women, focusing on their unique experiences. Migrant women will share their migration stories and interact with each other in a supported learning environment. These sessions will focus on topics such as identity building, maintaining hope, emotional awareness and anxiety management, allowing participants to discover their own strengths and be inspired by each other. With the practical tools and strategies offered by our project, migrant women will find support in the process of integrating into a new community and will be able to contribute more effectively to their communities by better understanding their own strengths.
