Muhammed Gökbel
My journey began in Turkey, where I studied Electrical Engineering and discovered a passion for technology, systems thinking, and problem-solving. Early in my career, I worked as a project assistant and training supervisor, supporting young people in developing technical skills and coordinating educational programs. These experiences sparked my interest in mentoring and capacity-building.
Moving to Germany marked a turning point. Experiencing a new culture, language, and system deepened my understanding of the challenges many face during the integration process — and inspired me to support others on similar paths.
At Januam gUG, I contribute to impact-oriented projects that promote education, participation, and equal opportunities. I coordinate initiatives that empower children, youth, and adults — particularly women — through mentoring, language, and digital skills programs.
Combining a technical background with social engagement, I focus on building inclusive, sustainable, and community-driven projects. I believe in lifelong learning and aim to create spaces where people feel encouraged and equipped to shape their own futures.
